Overall I'm very happy with this stove. It looks great, I love the in oven broil feature, the convection oven and the griddle burner as well. It's easy to clean. There are two minorareas that I would like to improve. One is the spacing on the iron grates. A very small saucepan that I use cannot be placed in a level position over the burners, because of the grate spacing. Also, I don't understand why the enamel finish can be permanently damaged by letting sugar containing foods burn on the range surface. Those foods burn easily. I think I remember that my grandmother's rangetop could be cleaned up beautifully no matter what foods got burned on. Has enamel changed since then??

The perfect oven for me.

I™€™ve had this oven for a year, and absolutely love it. Even after this much time, I™€™m still descovering new features this oven has. I noticed a slight variation in baking temperature over the course of a longer bake. I know gas ovens will fluctuate a bit, but wanted to make sure it was still calibrated. After a quick search, I found the oven temp adjust feature, and after a minor adjustment I™€™m good to go! (Knock on wood) as of this review I™€™ve had no major issues.

Steam Clean is very misleading

The "steam clean" is very misleading. It does not produce any steam or condensation of any type, the oven only heats to 190 for less than 10 minutes then stops heating and was verified with an internal thermometer by a service technician. You put 1 cup of water in and at the end you have to soak up 1 cup of luke warm water out of the bottom that does not assist much at all. The service tech called Frigidaire and was told this is normal operation of the "steam clean". If you are buying this partially for the "steam clean" feature you will be VERY disappointed! You would be better off using hot tap water on a sponge and saving a lot of time and frustration for a light cleaning. The oven and stove top do work ok. I tried calling Frigidaire and after being on hold after navigating the automated feature I was told by and automated message that I needed to call back later and was hung up on after 15 minutes on hold. I sent an email with no reply. Being as we purchased this partially for the"steam clean" we are very disappointed in this feature.

Bought the unit on a spur of the moment decision as it was on sale at a national chain hardware store. So glad I did as it was super easy to install, it looks great in my kitchen and works fantastic. I love the double griddle burner in the middle and the convection oven feature.

Disappointed I have to purchase an extended warranty

Aftet only about 6 weeks of owning this oven my quick boil burner wouldn't ignite. Called and had a part shipped due to covid installed new igniter still no ignition. Unit needs a spark control module waiting on repair next week from abt who I purchased from. Love the oven otherwise. Awesome features and the black stainless is beautiful. Cast iron grates and griddle are sweet. Just very frustrating to have a repairman so soon and feel I have to buy the extended warranty because of this experience. I usually trust that the appliances I purchase are gonna last without the need of the extra cost of insurance.

Two repairs required in less than one year!

Purchased this range less than 1 year ago, computer board was defective and had to be changed a few months ago. Today 6/18/20 having the exact same problem cannot get service company to respond until 6/22/20. Asked if the replacement board could be shipped overnight so the company could do the installation on Monday, to be told no, they don't know what the problem is, Error code F11 is the same as last time. This is the first time I purchased this brand not having a good experience.

We bought our Frigidaire has range about a month ago and have been very pleased with it. The electronic control panel is very easy to figure out and does not require have to read a long manual To figure out how to turn your oven on, set a timer, etc. the stove top is also easy to clean.

It™€™s only been a year since I purchase this appliance and since we got it I been having issues with this brand, the last is that one of the burners fell off my hands and broke in half, when we first got it, chips started appearing on top and and around the header. I would not recommend this brand to anybody. We spent so much money on this purchase and it was jot worth it.

This has a convection/standard oven...certainly a learning curve! When baking, I've learned I have to reduce the recipe temperature by 25%, depending on the cookware being used to prevent burning/overcooking. Love the temperature probe feature. This has a 5th burner with a cast iron griddle...may not use that feature too much, but good to have. All of the other 4 burners are unique in size and heat production, one heats up super fast!

Purchased and installed this range about one month ago. So far, we are happy with the stove. We replaced our electric, glasstop range with gas this time. We used gas before, but it has been almost 20 years ago. All functions of the stove are working as they should. So far our only complaint: if using the broiler for a longer period of time, the smell of gas gets quite overwhelming. I have checked the gas supply line but everything is ok there. I'm not really sure how to check the incoming gas at the broiler to see if there is a problem. Cooktop an oven work great. Perhaps the smell with the broiler is due to the range being new and may possibly go away with continued use.

Didn't know what I was missing!

My previous range was 32 years old and I was very hesitant to part with it. I finally decided it was time to get a new stove and I have not regretted it for one minute. I love the size of the oven that comes with 3 racks instead of my two. The oven light comes on every time I open the door (I love this!) I make cookies with the convection feature that makes them come out evenly baked and beautiful looking. I did not think I was going to like the continuos grate, but now that I have it, I know I would miss it if it were not there. I also did not realize the advantages of having the different sized burners. I use the center burner with the griddle almost every day. Overall, I love my new stove!

Affordable range, but beware of warranty repairs

We bought the entire Frigidaire Gallery suite for our kitchen in our new house. We were very happy with the price of the appliances as well as their looks. When bought together, the range, dishwasher, microwave, and fridge look great! We love the black stainless steel look. The appliances all feel sturdy and not cheaply made. After 3 months of usage, we began smelling gas coming from the range. Because it was still under manufacturer warranty, we had to go through Electrolux (Frigidaire's parent company) for repairs. Long story short, it took over two months without a working stove/oven before it was fixed. Frigidaire (unlike other companies) does not have its own in-house service department. They contract out to local repair companies. The first repair company we were assigned actually made the leak worse. The second repair company took several attempts over the span of a month and a half to resolve the gas leak. The big issue with this service model is the repairmen do not carry all the parts needed to do the repair with them. They have to order parts, which typically took us about a week each time, then it would be another week before they had availability to attempt a repair. As you can see, this draws out the repair process. They are also not specialized in this particular brand of appliances like an in-house service department would be, so they can't diagnose an issue as quickly (in our experience).Also, a heads up to any potential buyers: Electrolux will not consider replacing a unit unless the repairman deems the unit to be unrepairable. In our experience, the repair companies were not willing to do this for us. They would attempt a fix (after waiting a week for the part to come in), tell us to wait a day, and if it was still leaking gas, we'd have to call Electrolux again to set up another appointment that wouldn't take place for another week. I suspect it cost more to do these repairs than it would have to just replace the unit one month into the process. I admit, the unit was apparently repairable, it's just a shame it took two months to get to that point. In the end, the stove got fixed and it's working fine. I gave two stars because we are happy with the stove itself while it works, the price, and its looks. I deducted three stars for the more-than-poor repair process. Simply because of this experience, we will never buy Frigidaire products again, and we have talked other people out of buying them as well. Next time, we will pay a little bit of a premium on the price of the appliance so we can rest assured any repair work will be done in a timely and consumer-friendly manner.

Had this range about a month and we are happy with it. The sizing and placement of the burners work out well, and it looks sharp. We bake a lot and the oven function is good, although we haven™€™t used the convection feature much yet. The controls are easy enough to use once you get used to them. The griddle is ok but had some sticking, probably needs to season more. If I could change one thing it™€™s that the alarm for the timer and when it reaches temperature, or other functions, is way too loud and annoying. The silence feature only turns off the keypad beeps, but there is no way to change or lower the volume otherwise, so every time we hear it we all curse the stove. I may pull the stove out and open the back panel to look for a way to muffle it. Ask me again a year from now how well this range is holding up. Our old GE lasted 23 solid years with some minor repairs, and I don™€™t have much faith in stuff manufactured nowadays as far as longevity. Still all in all a nice range, and would recommend.

This is the second Frigidaire gas stove that I have purchased. I was so happy with my first one that when we built our new home I knew which stove I wanted. I bought the black stainless, which looks great, and I™€™m so happy with the way it cooks.

I have only used my gas range about 2 weeks so far I really like all the features it has. the black top is a little hard to keep clean because it really shows the dust, and grates are heavy to remove compared to my old stove which had 4 single small grates. Oven heats very quickly and burners are great. I'm glad I purchased.

I love the griddle and many burner options. I have never had a convection oven before and so far I think it is very nice for baking and roasting. Burner knobs do push in easily and sometimes get turned on when reaching over the range - I'm short. Overall I LOVE it.

Best Replacement Ever!!!

I had a Premier 36" range which I purchased in 2012. It worked great until the oven went out in 2019. After waiting two months for a replacement, I received a call from PC that they could no longer fix this range as the parts were unavailable. I received a credit for a new stove (as I had an extended warranty) and I paid the difference to purchase this range. I have never been happier. It has a convection oven which cooks the food perfectly. It is really an air fryer in disguise as the convection oven distributes hot air and that is exactly what an air fryer does! If you are ready to purchase a range, this is definitely the one to buy.
