Extended warranties are usually very inexpensive and can save you thousands in the future. Some can even cover extra costs that result, such as cost of food that spoils when your fridge dies. It's simple and inexpensive to purchase extended warranties and one of the smartest ways to protect your investment.

Appliances can be large, heavy and expensive. You probably don't have the special tools or expertise needed to fix them in a crisis. If you can spare a few thousand dollars without batting an eyelash for new appliances should they break tomorrow, don't buy a warranty. But if you're like most of us, protect yourself by purchasing inexpensive extended warranties when you buy a new product and save yourself big money in the long run.

Great purchase

Raybo 7/26/2023

I have only been using this unit for just less than two weeks but it has been flawless. I replaced one of the ™€œhigh end™€ hoods that did last me 26 years but it was extremely noisy and difficult to clean. The baffles were huge and were tight in the dishwasher. The rest of the cleaning was manual and tough to get the grease out of all the crevices. This JennAir has easy to remove baffles and grease drip pans all of which go into the dishwasher with ease. Lighting is bright with the three LED bulbs. Love the heat lamps that are rare to find. And it doesn™€™t sound like a jet engine in my kitchen while effectively removing all smoke and odors. The installer was impressed with the ease of installation as well. Very pleased with the whole process.

Looks great, but works not so great!

D&DL 2/19/2021

This is a nice looking hood and looks professional. Our dealer said we had to have it to support the pro-style gas range with its grill. Well, that sounds good, but when the grill puts off a lot of smoke, and it does, the kitchen fills with smoke. That's with the highest setting on. The hood is so powerful it requires a make-up air-intake system separate from the exhaust system. That is working as designed, but the hood still does not remove the fumes. Jennair says it's the air intake/ exhaust systems, but they work! So, we are not pleased with this expensive exhaust hood. Also, at the higher speeds it's so loud you can't talk with someone.

Bad Service

tmichelena 6/23/2020

This product, like every other Jenn Air product, is not worth the money. And, the service you receive from this company is awful. Stay away from Jenn Air and Whirlpool.

Great product/Needs LED lights

BobSpen 9/10/2019

The product performs very well. The only shortcoming is the white lights. They should be LED instead of incandescents.
