I order this washer and dryer. Was given a delivery date Nov 16 then Nov 19. . My products are currently sitting in a shipping warehouse. They refuse to deliver for 5 weeks Dec 10 . They are sitting in a shipping warehouse. LG has been no help to resolve this. They took my money and have not delivered my order. . Deceitful and no customer service. And I ordered off LG veterans partner store. Thank you

I had washer major brand that was less than 3 years old that was giving me issues every once in awhile. I did some research and learn that LG brand was really good. I went to the Spencer store and talked to a very knowledgeable salesperson. I purchased the LG5.0 washer I havent looked back since.

Replacement LG washer

This is a replacement purchase of our previous LG front loading washing machine. Our previous one only lasted 3 and a half years. The drum froze and sealed inside the plastic casing and its not like we have a huge family to clean up after. The last two years was just my wife and I. I always made sure to flush the tub and run the tub clean every six months. Sucks that we had to purchase a new one. Our LG dryer has been totally fine. Will wait to see how this one goes.

Strong smell

I bought the washer about a month ago. It has worked great. The only negative issue has been the strong machine-like odor the washer has emitted in the laundry room. The smell is not in the washer drum. It is about gone now but it has been a month.

BAD washer and dryer

Product is a piece of GARBAGE DO NOT waste your money and opt for a simpler version without all the stupid sensors it will do a much better job. The washer doesnt even use enough water to fully wet the clothing so you know its not clean even with small loads. And forget about DRYING small loads because the sensor will auto shot off every 30 seconds because its a small load. But just because its a small loadit doesnt mean the dryer can magically dry any piece of clothing in 30 seconds I stood in front of my dryer today for 35 minutes restarting it over and over to dry some socks and the socks were still patchy and damp.

Leaking after 3 years

We purchased this washer back in 2021. After only 3 years the machine started leaking. I am very disappointed at the durability of this machine. A year into the purchase the rubber surrounding the door of the machine started to grate off and pieces of the rubber got into my clothes.. The machine does not do a good job drying. Dont waste your money

Dont order from LG directly. The third party company they hire to deliver doesnt deliver on the date they said they would never contact you and never call you back. Calling LG customer service is also useless - they hung up on me when trying to give them a call back number after not transferring me to a supervisor to discuss the failings of the delivery company. Ive taken 2 days off work spent hours on the phone and hours waiting around for no delivery to occur. If you decide you want an LG rethink that decision then order it from somewhere else where they might actually deliver it

My honest review We had to have a tech come out twice. The machine does not handle big loads with the adequate amount of detergent well. Water and suds run down the machine from the dispenser. It is a young machine we do not have it even a year.

My only concern is that I am now receiving phone calls from someone who says they are from LG and wants me to sell the machine back to LG. Sounds odd and they keep calling. I am not investigating because I dont have the time but wonder if LG wants to? They have been persistent.

Item was delivered to the middle of my laundry room and not installed. They never came out and did a start up on any of my LG appliances. Washer shakes real bad on high spin have to spin on medium speed. Now the washer is squealing when it times the laundry.

Where is my Order???

I wish I could review the products I purchased. However they were NOT delivered on the day and time as promised. When I placed my order for the washer and dryer I was provided with a delivery date. I planned my life around it to be available to accept delivery. I received a text just before scheduled delivery time to say that they would have to reschedule but that they could not provide a future date. And because it was after business hours there was no-one I could speak with. I understand that things change and nobody knows what anyone else is going through. I left a devastated family funeral to be home to accept delivery. In this modern day and age there is absolutely NO excuse for such a lack of consideration of my time. I expect much MUCH more from such a distinguished and respected company such as LG.

Failed after 18 months

The machine failed after 18 months and was declared a total loss by my Lowes Protection Plan. Assurant. I have given a full refund but will now a dryer that does not match the washer as the models have changed. Moreover delivery haul-away and new hoses will be at my expense. This has been a disappointment.
