since this is a smaller fridge, you cannot stand 2 liter soda bottles upright. also, the shelves are not adjustable. i occasionally hear thumps, which i suspect are the plastic walls flexing during the cooling cycle. it's performed well.

we purchased this refrigerator in 1/2019. we had cooling issues with fridge, after a few months and again after 2 years. the fridge is no longer working. after two different service calls, the second with a certified samsung technician, he said, time to buy another one. two years of service on this product. please buyers beware.

got the fridge in mid-april it has been bad since day one. freezer works but fridge will not cool properly. i have lost a lot of food due to spoiling. was concerned from day one, but did not return to best buy within 15 window because i didn't want to pay a restocking fee :(
after hours on phone & 10 days to get an appt for service, a technician came yesterday & replaced fan & defrost sensor. this fixed nothing. another tech will come friday but with no plan and no continuity bet appts.
this fridge is a lemon & i would really like it to be replaced, not rebuilt part by part by an outside service provider with hours of my time invested in the process & continuous loss of food.

in less than one year the refrigerator has lost its refrigerant charge twice and destroyed 2 compressors. good thing there is a 10 year warranty on the compressor, they are going to need to put 20 in this one to keep it running that long!

Internet says don't plug in new fridges for up to 24 hours. Installers plugged in right away despite me asking about this. Fridge was making loud noise so I unplugged for 24 hours, and now all good. Fridge section doesn't get quite as cold as my old fridge. Hard to find a spot to fit 2 liter bottles, pizza boxes. Otherwise good overall fridge with a few nice extra features.

needed frig to fit an existing cabinet & everything was too wide or too tall or too expensive. when a relative suggested samsung, i didn't know this unit existed until i found it on samsung.com. website is great, quickly found right fit/right price. competitor models at this price point pale in comparison & lack the features & positive reviews you see for this unit: icemaker included, led lights for both refrig and freezer, 10 yr compressor warranty, and the option to add samsung care + 3 yr plan. bought it site unseen & just as pictured. online buying /delivery experience was superior. samsung provided order status updates from the date of purchase until it was delivered. only had it for a day but super impressed. thank you samsung!

We live in a 2 bedroom Apt. Kitchen is somewhat small and this Refrigerator fits perfectly. Just the right amount of space for all the groceries. The freezer is on the smaller size but enough for our needs. For the price this was the freezer we needed.

We bought this refrigerator to fit into a smaller than typical spot. It fit perfectly, but we had to switch the direction the door opened to make it more functional for our application. It required about an hour to switch the way the door opened. Everything has functioned as expected. We are very happy with this choice.

Fortunate to actually find a refrigerator to buy, the Samsung 18 cu. ft. top freezer does the trick. Simple, straightforward, and shiny, it operates quietly and inexpensively. I do like the trick of being able to turn the fridge part off and keep the freezer on, or turn everything into a fridge. How about being about to turn it all into a freezer, too? Anyway, great product.

This refrigerator is very roomy. We live in an older home that has small area for fridge and for that reason we had to go smaller. I love it! It is quiet running! We did not install the icemaker but the option is there. The freezer is so large and roomy compared to other models of this size! I am very happy with my purchase!

I bought this as I needed a refrigerator quickly and it was one of a very few models in stock locally and that fit my space. Pros: The unit is extremely energy efficient and very, very quiet. So quiet that when the ice maker kicks on it can be a little starling because it never makes any other noise. The ability to change the upper compartment to a fridge could be handy for some. Cons: The amount that the shelves are adjustable is very limited and they are at a bit of an awkward height and they are very deep, it can be easy to lose items in the back. To make fridge usable for me I had to add slide out compartments. The door only fit name brand (coke, pepsi) 2 liter bottles on the top shelf and will only fit 2. The lower door cubby will fit many off brand 2 liters though.

A missing feature is that to set the temperatures for the fridge and freezer, there are 6 level that the consumer can set to instead of setting to the specific temperatures. It would be good if there are 2 small displays to show what temperatures are and the consumer is able to set temperatures as desired.

this refer is great, clean look, but really wish it came with an internal filter for the icemaker. the water feed is not tied into the under the sink shut off valves. filtering is not an option now.

We bought this as a second fridge. It's great but yesterday we had a power failure and then the alarm started sounding every few minutes. Nothing in the manual about it or how to disable the sound. One earlier review said this is a design fault and his door had to be replaced and it took a long time. In the meantime it keeps ringing.

We bought this refrigerator to go into a newly finished basement. The interior space for both fridge and freezer is ample, and the ability to configure the shelves in different ways is certainly a big plus. The look of the fridge seems more high-end than what we paid, and it runs super quiet.
